Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

WebPlus (“we”, “the company”) operates webplus.co.il and provides WordPress website development and Shopify store setup services for Israeli businesses. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the site, why, on what legal basis, who it may be shared with, and the rights available to you regarding it. It’s written to be clear and readable, not to obscure anything — if anything here is unclear, contact us directly using the details at the bottom of the page.

1. Who is responsible for your data

WebPlus is the site owner and the party responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing data collected through it (the database controller, as defined under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 1981). You can reach us about anything related to this policy using the details in the “Contact” section below.

2. What data we collect

Data you provide knowingly — when you leave your details in the contact form or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you provide: name, phone, business type, your message, and the site language you contacted us in. The form also sends the referring page and campaign (UTM) details if you arrived from a paid link — this helps us understand where a lead came from, not identify you beyond what you gave us.

Technical data collected automatically — like any website, our hosting and infrastructure provider routinely collects basic operational data such as IP address, browser type, and access time, to run and secure the site and diagnose issues. We don’t use this data for marketing or personal profiling.

Analytics — if analytics is enabled on the site, it is a cookieless tool (Plausible) that does not collect identifying information and does not track you across other sites.

We process the data you submit through the form or WhatsApp on the basis of your consent at the time of contact, and for the purpose it was given for: getting in touch with you, responding to your enquiry, and presenting a relevant quote or service. We don’t use it for any other purpose without your consent, and we don’t send marketing email, sell, or rent your details to anyone.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The site itself does not use advertising tracking cookies. An external human-vs-bot verification service, used to verify that a form submission isn’t automated, may use technical identifiers solely to perform that check — not for marketing tracking. Our optional analytics tool (Plausible) runs without any cookies at all.

5. Sharing data with third parties

We only share data with providers involved in running the site and handling your enquiry, and only to the extent necessary:

Provider typeRoleData shared

Human-vs-bot verification serviceVerifying a form submission isn’t automatedIP address and browser details at submission time
WhatsApp (Meta)Communication channel, if you contact us via the WhatsApp buttonMessage content, under Meta’s own privacy policy

We do not sell personal data to any third party, and we do not share it for third-party marketing purposes.

6. International data transfers

Some of the providers listed above operate server infrastructure outside Israel, so data may be processed in other countries as part of running these services. We choose providers with established, industry-recognized privacy and security practices.

7. Data security

We take reasonable, standard measures to protect the data you give us — including encrypted communication (HTTPS) across the entire site, and limiting access to data to relevant staff only. As with any online service, however, we cannot guarantee absolute, perfect security.

8. Retention period

We keep your enquiry details for as long as there is a reasonable business need — for example, while correspondence with you is active, or through project completion and a reasonable follow-up period — and delete them on request, subject to any legally mandated retention (for example, for accounting purposes).

9. Your rights

Under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, you may at any time:

  • request access to the data held about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or outdated data;
  • request deletion of your data, to the extent we have no legal obligation to keep it;
  • object to a specific use of your data, or request that its use be restricted.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page — we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

10. Minors

Our service is intended for business owners and is not directed at minors under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Complaints to the Privacy Protection Authority

If you believe your rights under the Protection of Privacy Law have been violated, you may file a complaint with Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority (within the Ministry of Justice), in addition to contacting us directly.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time, including in response to legal changes or changes to the services we offer. The last-updated date is shown at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Contact

Questions or requests about your privacy can be sent to webpluscollege@gmail.com, or via WhatsApp using the details in the site footer.
